A family business, based in Melle, near Osnabrück in Lower Saxony, has made a name for itself at a national and international level over the past almost 40 years. Solarlux stands for individual glazing solutions that improves your quality of life and reinvigorates your living environment. All products – from wintergardens and folding glass doors to glass canopies – meet the highest of standards!

Folding glass doors, wintergardens, glass canopies etc. are developed, tested and produced in Melle. All Solarlux products undergo constant rigorous testing and have certificates from renowned national and international test institutes.

Not only Solarlux as a company and its founder Herbert Holtgreife have won prizes (2007 Hansgrohe award for "Venturing more", 2009 SME Grand Prix), but Solarlux products, too, have impressed well-known, international juries. In 2010, the SL 82 folding glass door received the well-known iF product design award.And in the same year, the internationally renowned design prize, the red dot award for product design, also went to this range of all-glass folding doors, continuing its successes.
