The Softicated company is a Swiss brand which creates and publishes premium "lifestyle" furniture, lighting and rugs for interiors.

All objects are designed by Cyril Rumpler. Self-taught, Cyril wants his objects to astonish by the detail, to reveal a difference. Cyril Rumpler creates intimate pieces of furniture. The dimensions are generous, they must ensure the greatest comfort of use while seducing by the form.

The furniture, lights and rugs offered are useful and comfortable pieces, with timeless elegance, inspired by Nature and everyday objects. Pieces are mainly handcrafted, intended for individuals and professionals.

Materials used for furniture and lights are wood, glass, leather, velvet, fabrics, polished stainless steel and aluminum, sandblasted glass, ceramic and marble.

Following its success over time, the Signet Ring stool has become a signature, stand- alone collection. Easily recognizable, its refined, minimalist silhouette is vitalized by the choice of a dozen bold colours: immaculate white, turquoise blue, blush pink, deep green, scarlet red, gold, navy blue, and more. The iconic piece instantly injects personality into any space.

Some lights look like sculptures. The lights are modern in shape and material. A strong organic inspiration is present in these creations.

Softicated rugs are luxurious and modern. The shapes are graphic, organic (great inspiration from Nature) and geometric with a strong visual impact. Some collections can make you think of paintings. The colors chosen are varied, colorful, bright, intense with a strong identity but also softer or more natural. The materials used are precious and refined: wool and botanical silk, associated with the patterns, they make it possible to create effects of materials, to vary the reliefs and the thicknesses.

The objects on offer contribute to magnifying interiors thanks to their elegance, their practicality & usefulness, comfort, attention to detail, a subtlety of timeless design, the quality of the selected materials and their excellent finishes. The pieces are suitable for both classic and modern interiors.

All objects are designed in Geneva and manufactured by European craftsmen with recognized know-how: in France, Italy and Portugal from top quality materials.

The objects are well designed, well conceived and well made. Some of the pieces have been awarded. The pieces that garnered distinctions in prestigious competitions in the United States, Germany, Slovenia and Japan include the table lamps Flying Fish, Head in Stars and Silhouette as well as the Signet Ring stool.

Cyril Rumpler, the Franco-Swiss designer specializing in furniture, lighting and rugs entered the realm of furniture design by that most beautiful of doors: that of his dream! In possession of a harmonious fusion of the refined heritage from two distinct cultures, his creations bear the imprint of timeless sophistication combined with functionality.

Self-taught, he spent his entire career promoting packaging for the pharmaceutical industry. He has always been fascinated by the impact an object can have on the mood and feelings of the purchaser. In his spare time, he designs objects, infusing them with the power to convey serendipity: rugs, light fixtures and seating. A few years ago, after an accident, he accelerated destiny by devoting himself to his passion by creating Softicated, the brand that bring happiness to one’s inner-self and one’s Home interior.

Cyril Rumpler is the artistic director and designer of the brand's collections. Starting from a single line or a perspective, he allows his imagination to flourish without stylistic constraints but with real sensitivity to the organic curves found in nature. Their pieces of furniture, lighting and rugs are all unveiled at the display.

His main source of inspiration is Nature and more specifically soft inspirations directly from Nature. By creating Softicated, a furniture, lighting and rugs brand, Cyril Rumpler was inspired by organic, simple and harmonious curves of Nature: Human, animals, leaves, relief, ... His second source of inspiration, to a lesser extent, are everyday products, from everyday life: Signet Ring, Saddlebags, Bento box…

He often has an initial idea, a first mental image. During the creation phase, other concepts may appear. He usually starts with a simple form, which he gradually builds up. From preliminary sketch to detailed design, he works by hand and always starts his creations with a curve then with a line. The objects Cyril creates are associations of generous dimensions for ease of use and clean lines. The lines are always refined for the sake of tranquility.

The starting point is the shaping of the material to give a feeling of tranquility, appeasement, balance and comfort in generous and reassuring dimensions. An emotion, the awakening of the senses also exhales these objects, challenged by details unique to each creation.

Cyril creates pieces of furniture with timeless trends not influenced by fashions. We can talk about modern elegance and symmetry. Cyril Rumpler said: "You can linger and still find something interesting to look at, from any angle, even the least visible, that's what gives these objects personality."

He wants the furniture, lighting and rugs that he creates to help enhance interiors thanks to their elegance, their practicality & usefulness, comfort, attention to detail, a certain subtlety of timeless design and the quality of the selected materials.

Cyril Rumpler has always felt a responsibility in the sustainable development and recycling of materials. Limiting the number of manufacturing steps of an object and recycling are major components of its design and manufacturing specifications. Designed with a minimum of materials and without mixed materials: wood, glass, steel, by artisans who manufacture high-quality objects, a long storage of furniture that can be repaired and renovated.
