Our story

Our brand name in Tamil means a safe haven or simply home. We built it on solid foundations - friendly cooperation of four parents who for years have been combining full-time work in raising children with the pleasure of creating unique interiors for the youngest. Our story begins with prototypes of a furniture collection created by two architects and we at the same time. Thanks to the combination of professional experience in design and inspiration from children's creativity, unique furniture has been created. The characteristic, simple line, minimalism combined with a creative distinguishing feature, warm, natural colors and attention to detail are the main features thanks to which Kutikai furniture gains the approval of adults and inspires the imagination of the youngest.
Return do korzeni / Back to the roots
We are a family company for which the highest value is the warmth of a home. For this reason, we also respect our roots. In our daily work, we use the rich experience of our parents and grandparents who still run the carpentry shop. We attach great importance to details, which is why each of our products is the result of the work of experienced craftsmen. All elements of the furniture are hand-made and painted, mainly in a small carpentry shop in southern Poland - in a small town near Zakopane.
Solid trunk - magnificent tree crowns
We know perfectly well that only the best raw material can create a unique product. Therefore, we use only the highest quality materials in the production process. Each element of our furniture is made of natural birch plywood. Both in the design and production phase, we follow the stringent European Union standards, with particular emphasis on quality control and safety. Thanks to this, we can guarantee solid and functional furniture that will serve the youngest (and therefore the most demanding) users for many years.
Green leaf as a signpost
We approach the work with natural raw materials with great care, designing durable and safe furniture for the youngest. We produce ecological varnishes with which plywood surfaces are covered in a family carpentry shop. This is where all production takes place - from the prototype, through testing and introducing the necessary corrections. By taking care of the details, from the concept to the final version available for sale, we make sure that Kutikai products meet the strict standards.

Our furniture is primarily two original Peekaboo and Roof collections, which include wardrobes, beds, chests of drawers, shelves, desks, tables with chairs, and changing tables. Under the Kutikai brand, we also offer complementary sets of mattresses, bedding, duvets, textiles and accessories that are consistent in terms of colors and are as subtly minimalist as the furniture itself. We are also constantly working on expanding our offer and developing the sales network.

Our products are trusted by customers in many countries around the world. We work with trading partners not only in the European Union countries, Great Britain and Switzerland. Kutikai furniture decorates children's rooms also in the United States, Middle East countries and even Australia. Kutikai is a brand offering children's furniture and accessories that combine comfort and functionality with a surprise - a surprising element of design aimed at stimulating the imagination of the youngest. Made of natural birch plywood and finished with ecological varnishes, the furniture is made with respect for the natural environment in a small family carpentry workshop in the south of Poland. It is there that what is most important for the brand meets - the world of fantasy, nature and minimalist Kutikai in Tamil means a house, a safe hiding place - and this is also the nature of Kutikai furniture - designed with safety rules and allowing children to spread their wings of fantasy.

Watching our children while they play, their unrestrained creativity and willingness to explore the world is a sea of ​​inspiration for us. We wanted to create furniture, not only safe and beautiful, but also one that will allow our kids to discover their inner worlds and awaken the passion for creation. We focus on simplicity of design because we believe that less is more - a child's fantasy only needs space, flashy colors or thousands of toys are unnecessary.

Two lines, two worlds:
Kutikai offers two lines of furniture, including: cots for a baby, an older child, chests of drawers with a changing table, shelves for books and toys, wardrobes and desks / tables. Both lines have a distinctive leitmotif that makes children smile.
A line with a roof, in which the roof and a drawer for treasures are the leitmotifs, turns the room into a playground - the desk-house invites you to draw and is a playhouse. A crib with a sun bed will turn into a mysterious castle or a pirate ship in no time. The natural color of birch plywood does not dominate the decor and does not impose it.
The line with the Kutikai roof was qualified for the final of the DOBRY DESIGN 2015 competition organized by the Institute of Industrial Design.

The line with a hole combines the minimalism of the form with the delicacy of detail - a hole, which is also a handle suited to small hands and fingers and an incentive to play and look at the other side. Handy lockers in unusual places are a hideout for real treasures.
