France Poutres

French manufacturer of I-beams and supplier of wood construction products and solutions, we are recognized in the region among manufacturers, distributors and materials traders.

Created by the two brothers Noël and Yvon Praud in 1976, France Poutres began its history in a small carpentry workshop in Venansault in Vendée. Over the years, the two artisans had in mind to go further in their profession. It was in 1995 that they invented “Inopanne”, an I-beam more resistant than other solutions on the market. One thing led to another and the company grew and modernized until today it became a national figure in industrial wooden beams. Our experience allows us to offer our customers a wide range of products and to meet the technical requirements of each project. From I-beams to structural kits for floors, roofs or wooden frame buildings, including machining and the supply of laminated or laminated timber beams, we use our know-how and innovate to meet the wishes of our customers.

Valorization of related products

We are committed to working, on our scale, in a green approach by controlling and reusing wood chips from planing operations with a partner service provider. These shavings are used to make animal bedding. The wood scraps resulting from cutting operations in our workshops are recycled in a short circuit by being crushed to supply a cogeneration installation in Vendée.
