Ekinex was founded in 2012 by a group of technical experts in the field of automation and the KNX standard in particular. After the development of a first series of certified products, in 2014 it officially enters the world market with the publication of its own website, an operation that allows it to get in touch with the numerous operators in the Home&Building automation sector, architects and interior designers.

In July 2019 Ekinex SpA signed an important agreement, selling a minority shareholding to Caleffi SpA, thus becoming part of an important group that has been a leader in the plumbing and heating sector for sixty years.

At the heart of the Ekinex project is the desire to create a line of objects that encapsulates the essence of made in Italy: design, attention to detail, cutting-edge technology and innovation.

To date, Ekinex has a direct presence in 98 countries around the world, within which its products are an expression of the new Italian tradition that expresses craftsmanship in the realisation of the product at high technological levels.

Ekinex upholds the idea of a design that is not purely an aesthetic exercise, but includes as fundamental elements ease of use, immediate understanding of function, and the balanced and intelligent application of technology.
