About Us
We are CINIUS, in business since 1987: a leader in the sector of home furnishings of artisanally crafted solid wood, also designed and constructed to order.
We specialize in the “Japandi” – Asian and Scandinavian – style.
Our experience in home furnishings is all-encompassing, producing furniture for the entire home: beds, sofa-beds, night tables, chests of drawers, bookcases, ergonomic chairs, tables, kitchen furniture, walk-in closets, desks, slatted mattress foundations, dividing partitions, sliding doors, lofts, articles for the home, and other home accessories.
All the furniture we produce is ecological. We use only the best solid wood. We treat it only with natural oils and varnishes.
The pieces are assembled by interlocking, without the use of metal parts. It is a purely artisanal type of woodworking that has always distinguished our products.
We are specialized in creating customized furniture with centimetric precision. Our expertise led us to reinvent the loft bed.
Some have tried to imitate us. Today, our SPAZIOBED® loft bed has a registered trademark.
Our values
“We’re the home. Every time we come back home, it’s like finding ourselves again, our true wellbeing, and our deepest nature, in harmony with the environment surrounding us.”
Quality, wellbeing, ecology: This is our guiding philosophy, in all the phases of our work, so we can always give you the best experiences of wellbeing at home. Like SPAZIOBED, which combines good-quality sleep with functional, contemporary spatial solutions.
WOOD IS OUR MATERIAL.
We choose only select raw materials – types of wood that come from European forests that belong to reforestation programs – and we work them with experience and artisanal care, mindful of even the smallest detail.
The lamellar wood we use is nothing more than solid wood assembled with nontoxic polyvinyl acetate glues that comply with European regulations and standards: a totally natural product, and one of the most resistant materials used in furniture making.
WE FURNISH NATURALLY
Natural wood is a living, warm, cozy material which offers endless customization possibilities in shape, size, and color.
We work it using finishing products such as natural finishes and oil- or water-based tints: sustainable for the environment and safe for the health. Because furnishing naturally is like a therapy: we take care of our home, to take care of ourselves.
SUSTAINABILITY PATH
“In nature nothing is lost, nothing is created, everything is transformed.” By following this law, every step we take is a step toward sustainability.
We only use materials that last for years, to give you a quality product that withstands the test of time. But if you feel the need to change, we will take back and appraise your old, used SPAZIOBED and give you a discount on the purchase of a new one. Because wood is a precious material, and we reuse it over and over again. This way, by keeping the raw materials in circulation and saving natural resources, we minimize our impact on the environment.
WHAT DO WE MEAN BY “ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY” WHEN WE SPEAK OF WOOD?
We are referring to the lifetime of use of the bed produced, in relation to the time a tree takes to grow and become an adult. The longer our SPAZIOBED lasts and the faster the tree providing the wood grows, the more sustainable our decisions will be.
WE CHOOSE THE COLORS OF SUSTAINABILITY.
We use only environmentally sustainable natural finishes and non-toxic oil- and water-based tints and varnishes. This is how we color our solid lamellar beechwood, and our woodworking processes – like interlocking assembly and artisanal craftsmanship – are also of low environmental impact so as to increase the possibilities for the product to be recycled later.
WE TAKE BACK YOUR OLD USED BED.
We already guarantee an exceptional lifetime of the product, and in addition we extend the life of the raw material with which it is made. In fact, when you feel the need to change, we take back your used SPAZIOBED; we reuse the wood and award you a discount for the purchase of a new bed. This way, we save natural resources, cut down fewer trees, and reduce our environmental footprint.
