ARES LINE IS A LEADING COMPANY

Ares Line was founded in 1987, and is still run by the founding partners - Nicola Franceschi and Roberto Zuccato.
Ares Line specializes in the manufacture of office and Public area seating.

Innovation, quality, and service have turned the company into a key player on the international market, with products universally acknowledged as the epitome of true “Italian Style”. Ares Line also operates on the Italian Public Administration market and has been awarded 4 out of 5 of the national conventions with the Consip (the central purchasing office of the Italian public administration) over the last 13 years.

The company also focuses on social initiatives and supports the AIRC (Italian Cancer Research Association) through the “Love Design” initiative, Telethon, the International Children's Heart Foundation, the Lega del Filo d'oro and Women Profile for Africa.

Ares Line has further strengthened its position over recent years through a distribution and product differentiation strategy. A key factor in this process is internationalization of the distribution chain, with industrial partnerships in Canada, Brazil and Chile, and the opening of showrooms in Milan, Paris, Dubai, Toronto, San Paolo, Managua, and Casablanca.

The new FONOLOGY division was recently created to deal with architectural acoustics, offering the Market a global consultancy service and innovative “multi-material” solutions. Internationalization of the brand and the multi-product range have turned the company into an all-around key player for both the office and Public Area seating sector.

Ares Line has been ISO 14001 certified for many years. It has always been highly sensitive to environmental issues and therefore adopts a clear and decisive environmental policy of eco-sustainability.
The company's mission considers respect for the environment as a formal commitment by it to work on continuously improving its own environmental management system.

Ares Line satisfies this commitment through constant use of and research into recyclable materials which allow the development of eco-compatible products, certified disposal of industrial waste, and the almost total elimination of emissions into the atmosphere. The wooden parts are obtained from crops grown according to environmental sustainability criteria and the adhesives are used to satisfy the ecological standards of reference.

Ares Line performs all manufacturing phases of its models at its own factories and favors the use of original materials and products of the Venice Manufacturing District, thus reducing the environmental impact of transport.
It is one of the few Italian companies in the sector which has pursued and believes in a controlled and certified reduced production chain, which limits the environmental impact and optimizes the use of human and technological resources. It simultaneously guarantees an improved and continuous search for product innovation and increases the possibility of customization. Since 1997, the Ares Line Quality Management system has been certified in compliance with the ISO 9001 standard, positioning the company as one of the rst in Italy, in the held of once furniture, to obtain this important recognition. Before being put on the market, all models are submitted for certification by accredited bodies that declare their compliance with the related international regulations in force. Hence, Ares Line is one of the rst companies to guarantee their products for 7 years, the only company in Italy in the seating sector.

The company's focus on quality, however, includes not only the control of raw materials, design systems, production and end products but also respect for the environment.
In this respect, ISO 14001 Environmental Management certification governs the management of all the company’s internal and external environmental and safety measures, from preventing possible negative interaction with the community and the surrounding environment to promoting activities that maintain or improve environmental quality while pursuing eco-sustainable development and e cien-cy. We have progressed along this path by obtaining, in March 2011, FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certification. Furthermore, in 2010, Ares Line obtained OHSAS 18001 certification for its management system, which protects the Health and Safety of Workers, and the "LAVORO SICURO" certification, thus confirming that in its workplaces the company applies a health and safety management system.
