Since 1957, AHI Roofing has been the inventor and world leader in pressed metal tiles with the trademark GERARD Tiles. AHI Roofing is part of IKO Metals, an international Canadian company with over 3,500 employees and 25 production sites worldwide, in Europe and France.
IKO Metals Europe manufactures and distributes the GERARD, METROTILE and DECRA brands.
GERARD, METROTILE and DECRA tiles are laid on a traditional support composed of battens, counter-battens and a roof underlay. These lightweight tiles are produced from aluminum-zinc protected steel and are covered with natural stone.
It is a non-noisy metal roofing system. They retain their color under UV rays, offer a traditional appearance of tiles, slates, flagstones or shingles while responding to technical issues because it is a system that is installed on a low slope from 21% and that weighs only 7kg per m2.
They are also installed as over-roofs in the renovation of bituminous shingle roofs or in replacement and renovation of fiber cement roofs. They are resistant to hail, storms and earthquakes. GERARD and METROTILE tiles benefit from the technical opinion of the CSTB, CE marking and ISO 9001 quality controls, ISO 14001 production and ISO 18001 environment, thus offering the company's customers the assurance of benefiting from products with high and constant quality criteria.
