Description

The first participation of the Holy See in the Architecture Biennale in Venice. Ten chapels designed by great architects in the wood of the San Giorgio island, which became a metaphor for a labyrinth. The goal: to re-open a dialogue with the world of art. Zintek participated in the project by developing the chapel designed by Australian architect Sean Godsell. His love for the Venice bell towers, their audacious engineering and bold verticality in the lagoon skyline gave birth to this tower with a steel structure clad in zintek®, bolted on specific pack structures fastened in turn on piles of wood similar to those used throughout Venice’s history.
