Based on the draft acquired by the museum in 1941, WEINBAUMS produces the anniversary edition of the Hardoy Butterfly Chair with a tobacco-colored cover from fine Argentinean leather and a powder coated frame in elegant black. To mark its 80th anniversary - celebrating Ferrari-Hardoy's pioneering modernist vision to bold contemporary design - the chair is limited to an edition of 80 pieces. Each chair is numbered and comes with a comprehensive guide to one of the most admired works of interior design.
WEINBAUMS uses only vegetatively tanned leather from Catalonian producers for covering this special edition. The stainless steel frame, delicately welded at four crossing points, underlines with its robust coating the expressive character of one of the most distinctive style icons of the 20th century.
