The Slim KNX power supply is a device for rail mounting on only 2 DIN reg modules which produces and monitors by telegram the 30 Vdc voltage required
to operate the bus system. The device is equipped with an additional 30 Vdc output to be used as auxiliary power supply of other SELV devices. The device
features an integrated choke which provides the decoupling between the power supply and the information on the bus line. A KNX bus line can mount up
to 64 KNX bus devices. The output is protected from overload and short circuit. The total current absorbed from the two outputs (KNX bus and auxiliary)
must not exceed 640 mA. The device can support short mains voltage interruptions (max 100 ms) and short current peaks up to 1,2A. The device provides
advanced diagnostic functions such as: current device temperature, current consumption of the line, total operating time; in addition, it has the option of
resetting the bus via a telegram, also to signaling shorts circuits and setting alarm thresholds.
