The VL66 stool is a true classic designed by Vermund Larsen in 1966.
This high-quality stool is produced in Denmark and adds a touch of timeless elegance to any office – also the home office.
In 1961, Vermund Larsen developed Scandinavia’s first office chair with height adjustment, all thanks to his revolutionary gas spring system. The stool has all the same features and is built on a stable beech frame with a polished aluminum swivel frame. It also has wheels with chrome steel shells and upholstery in fabric or leather. The VL66 is hand-finished at our facilities in Aalborg.
The VL66T stool has a padded seat made from FSC-certified beech wood, as well as a polished aluminum frame. All fabrics and leather surfaces are produced by quality manufacturers in Denmark and stools are carefully upholstered using comfortable, high-quality foam.
The stool is available in a wide range of colours in textiles such as sustainable Re-wool or Hallingdal by Nanna Ditzel, as well as two colours in leather.
The frame is made of 20% recycled steel, which reduces the environmental impact of the steel’s resource-demanding extraction process.
All chairs are finished by hand at our production facilities in Aalborg, and each stool has its own unique ID number and a 6-year warranty.
Elegance and simplicity
The VL66 stool has a minimalist design, which gives the modern office a distinct, Nordic vintage look. The stool seat has a classic 1960s design with a polished aluminum frame identical to the VL66 Office Chair. The stool also has a chrome ring under the seat, which is used to adjust the height of the stool.
