Our Giardini Verticali (vertical garden) system is a landscape project to furnish both indoor and outdoor spaces with moderately thick structures on which roots watered by a scheduled fertirrigation system can develop.
Our experience in vertical green has allowed us to devise an innovative system for the realization of modular Vertical Gardens:
VP-MODULO
Our designers choose the plant species during the design phase, considering the specific environment in which the vertical garden will be placed and, especially, sun exposure, natural lighting and aeration.
This system does not need pre-cultivated plants. The structure incorporates the traditional layout of curtain walls, with panels and two layers of technical tissue with rooted plant species. Usually the wall does not require pre-work: the structure has small overall dimensions of just a few inches, and a continuous water supply.
The irrigation system is not visible from the outside and feeds the garden through an overhead dripline. It is constantly monitored by a control unit that is programmed to suit the garden's actual needs. The tech facility, which is generally located in a small space, regularly provides the fertilizer for the plant species. The entire bearing structure and installation of the irrigation system does not allow either moisture or water to drip on the wall.
Generally, the irrigation system's technological unit is close to the vertical garden, in a room or technical area that is accessible for maintenance. It comprises a tank containing the fertilizer and a dispenser, which draws the fertilizer from the tank, according to specific doses and ratios, and feeds it into the water circulation system.
