As an air cooler with innovative honeycomb technology, the PAE 19 H spreads a refreshingly cool air current in the room. Nature shows you how the active principle of this device works. Once a fresh breeze blows over damp skin, you immediately feel a pleasant cooling sensation. The cooling effect is caused by evaporation. The thermal energy required for this is withdrawn from the air, which causes the temperature to drop noticeably. This natural cooling principle is utilised by all air coolers of the PAE series with their cold water or ice water filling. Once the room air flows through the humid honeycomb filter, it is cooled down as thermal energy is withdrawn. Then the air is humidified with cold or ice-cold water, cleaned in the air filter and emitted into the room as a fresh air current. No chemicals, no power-consuming compressors and no disturbing exhaust air hoses are used in this process. The air cooler furthermore features a drying function to protect the honeycomb filter against mould formation when stored. Just press the "Fan speed" button for 3 seconds. The device will run for 20 minutes at the highest level and automatically switches to standby mode once drying has been completed.
