For homeowners and small businesses
Sewage pumping stations are additional tanks that can be connected to your wastewater treatment plant for the use of pumping fluids from one place to another where a gravity tank cannot be used.
Sewage pumping stations are used where gravity drainage is not possible.
The tank is constructed from GRP and collects the effluent or foul water from low-lying developments and pumps to a main sewer or treatment plant. It may also be used to pump from a sewage treatment plant to the raised bed drainage field. Our product is fitted with a control float, which activates the pump to pump specific volumes when the capacity has reached a pre-defined level.
What is a sewage pumping station?
A Sewage Pumping Station is an additional tank that can be connected to your wastewater treatment plant for the use of pumping fluids from one place to another where a gravity tank cannot be used.
For a single domestic dwelling, the Tricel domestic pumping system (sewage pumping station) is used primarily for the transfer of sewage from:
A dwelling to a Tricel Sewage Treatment System at a raised location
A single house in an estate which is lower than the main pumping station in the estate
We manufacture 1,000-litre and 1,600-litre standard domestic pump stations in accordance with the building regulations. Standard commercial pumping stations include 2,600 to 4,000 litre tanks. The Tricel packaged sewage pumping stations contain:
Underground tank made from GRP (glass reinforced plastic)
Inlet point
