Our socket strip is made of heavy Bakelite. This not only gives it more traction than the slip-prone DIY store models made of lightweight plastic, but also proves to be an aesthetic benefit - unlike the cheap competition, you don't have to hide this power strip, you can expose it to the eye as a functional design element.
