Inbitex is a specialist geotextile manufactured by TERRAM and developed to enhance the performance of Formpave Aquaflow permeable block paving and SuDS systems.
Inbitex is a green nonwoven geotextile that provides a filter/separator function within the block paving sub-base construction. As a geotextile it stops the intermixing of granular layers, thus stabilising the sub-base construction. The unique fibres of the Inbitex geotextile encourage the growth of a microbic biofilm habitat. These microbes biodegrade organic matter found in water run-off and have the capacity to consume 400g of hydrocarbon per year. Inbitex geotextile removes any harmful pollutants and hydrocarbons cleaning the collected storm water for reuse in an attenuation system or direct infiltration.
Inbitex can be used on any permeable paving system where pollutants and hydrocarbons need to be filtered from rainwater run-off.
