MSCL 1 is a designer lighting object inspired by the architecture of the Bauhaus movement. It allows an infinite number of geometric design options and colour combinations. Its clear and minimalistic design gives it a timeless appearance, which is further underlined by the classic nature of its glass and stainless-steel components.
However, its puristic appearance can always be adjusted to match the mood and personal tastes of the owner, creating a smooth transition from an ambient lamp to an artistic designer object. The handcrafted facets and edges of the glass cubes combine with the innovative and indirect LED lighting to create a rich variety of light reflections and effects – even when the lamp is off. These features will stimulate your imagination and fascination with the ambient designer lamp.
The decorative “Cubelight” comes with 18 cubes made of real glass, which can be freely arranged to satisfy your creative desires. The cubes are 50 mm in length (slight deviations possible). They’re simply placed on the housing cover, and the LED light is switched on (16 W, 1260 Im, 2,700 Kelvin). The object’s clear design vocabulary and proximity to the Bauhaus style make it a timeless beauty on every table, shelf or counter. The objects are numbered consecutively.
The “Cubelight” came in second place at the Light of the Year Awards in 2014 (highlight / onlight), and it won two Red Dot Design Awards in 2016.
