CONCEPT
This traditional Javanese house called "joglo" has been completely restored to be updated and arranged in a contemporary way. It is a collector's item, as old houses are becoming increasingly rare in Indonesia.
ARRANGEMENT
The joglo measures about 150m2.
In order to promote volumes, the joglo is crossed and arranged in 2 rooms on the sides with a central basin. On the right is installed a kitchen and on the left a bathroom.
MATERIALS
The joglo is made of restored old teak.
The joglo is mounted on a concrete stilt to ensure the stability of the structure and a slightly elevated view of the outside environment.
