ROBUST Sound-attenuating transfer unit
ROT is a sound attenuating transfer unit for wall mounting. The unit has been approved for use in prisons, and can also be used in detention centres, care institutions, schools, etc Surface mounted on each side of the wall, irrespective of wall thickness. Sound attenuation takes place in both the transfer unit itself, and in the space between the wall panels.

Technical description
Design
The ROT consists of two similar rectangular baffles containing acoustic insulation. The sides of the baffles are
perforated: 6 mm x 6 mm, spaced 8.3 mm apart. The
baffles are fitted with a flange for screw mounting direct
to the supporting surface.
Materials and surface treatment
The baffles are made of 1.5 mm thick sheet steel and are
painted.
