In september 2011 Spectrum introduced some designs of Ruud Jan Kokke: the Kokke dining chair with or without arms, and a matching easy chair. The items were already designed in 1987 and wandered by several manufacturers and were marketed by Ruud Jan Kokke himself for some time. Now they are a part of the Spectrum collection, were classics and new designs come together.
The Kokke chair consist of a solid oak frame, with solid ash laths, which cross each other and are supported by a front and back girder. The chair can be delivered in several finishes:
natural wood, or stained in whitewash, clay grey or black. Always finished with a transparent lacquer.
The combination of modern technique, craft work, solid wood and sober design, make this piece of furniture authentical. Besides that both chair and easy chair have a surprisingly good seating comfort.
