The LED lighting system was specifically developed for flush-mounted integration into the profile bottom of handrails. Because of individually arranged LED units, the variable system can be used both with straight lines and all radii. Retrofitting is also possible.
Optimised lens technology
New designed lenses ensure a significantly wider light distribution. This significantly reduces the number of light points required and the installation effort up to 30%.
Built in flush with the lower edge of the handrail LED PUCKs are nearly invisible during the day but in the evening the light emitted by the little LED spots of just 1.5W illuminates the barrier-free access in compliance with the relevant standards. This ensures that visitors also feel safe when visiting the dam during evening hours.
For the numerous stairways the LED PUCK system, which was specifically developed for flush integration into metal handrails, ensures safety-focused illumination of the stairs.
Vandalism and theft protection
Depending on the design, the LED is protected against destruction by a lens of hardened polycarbonate. The resilience of all visible parts corresponds to impact resistance class IK10 (EN62262). A special tool for removing the LED PUCKs provides protection against theft.
The two prominent facade projections are lit by LED PUCKs which are each in an aluminium tube of 50mm in diameter in the outer area, and ensure uniform illumination.
