Leather paperweight Escribano

For the reader who writes, a page holder frees up a hand. Useful for transcribing fragments, for jotting down ideas that come to mind while reading or jumping from one book to another without losing the thread, Escribano is an object that is pleasant to the touch and ideal to keep bound pages stacked in a neatly fashion. Two sewn leather bands hold two metal discs at either end, giving just the right amount of weight. An object conceived in the Enlightenment but with a contemporary expression. And still ages well in the hand.
