Stone wool insulation solution for bituminous waterproof membranes at 90° abutments The area between horizontal and vertical interfaces can sometimes be the most challenging part of a flat roof to insulate and seal. HardRock® Multi-fix Angle Fillets have been specifically designed to create a smooth transition at 90° abutments, for effective flat roof insulation and waterproofing. Manufactured from high density, non-combustible ROCKWOOL insulation, and faced with a white mineral coated glass fibre fleece, HardRock® Multi-fix Angle Fillets are designed to fully support bituminous waterproof membranes at 90° abutments. The smooth transitions allow water to run off freely, as opposed to holding in corners, where it could potentially seep into the building and cause structural damage. HARDROCK® Multi-Fix Angle Fillet have been designed to fully support the waterproof membrane at 90° abutments, providing a smooth transition between the horizontal and vertical interface. The product is manufactured with an integral mineral-coated glass fibre fleece, which secures a strong bond between membrane and insulation for both hot and cold applied bituminous membrane systems. Applications For use with bituminous or GRP waterproofing systems in conjunction with ROCKWOOL HARDROCK® Multi-Fix flat roof insulation boards. Handling When handling Angle Fillets they should be properly supported along their length.
