The heat from the solar collectors is routed to the domestic water via a largesurface bare-tube heat exchanger at the bottom of the Roth Solplus domestic water tank. The second bare-tube heat exchanger in the top section is used to heat any domestic water subsequently needed via the boiler. The Roth Solplus domestic water tank is a compact preassembled system for solar applications. The compression-proof floormounted tank with large, enamel-coated high-performance registers is perfectly designed for water heating. Optimum corrosion prevention is guaranteed by an enamel coating conforming to DIN 4753 and a magnesium anode. Energy losses are reduced to a minimum by the 50 mm CFC-free directly-applied polyurethane foam. An outer foil jacket completes the insulation. The Roth Solplus domestic water tank also has an access flange for inspection which is 180 mm in diameter. A 1 1/2" bushing is provided and a brass plug seal for optional use with an electric heating rod. The Roth domestic water regulation unit and solar station including flow indicator and safety relief valve are preassembled and prewired.
