The open units of the HD23 system are very different from the units normally associated with the kitchen, with design solutions quality more akin to living area systems: with elemental, horizon- tal volumes for wall units and vertical volumes for units included in bases. These units have a carcase with a highly resistant matte lacquer nish either in the same colour as the door or in a choice of colours from the Rossana range, while the back panel and internal partitions may either be in wood or lacquer nish, the latter in the same colour as the carcase or a contrasting colour.
