USB VITA WELD is a breathable, 4-layer, impermeable membrane with high grammage (340 g/m²); a polyester fibre underlay covered on both sides with a coating of the innovative synthetic heat welded material TPEE. The top layer is made up of polyester fibres on the upper surface, making it non-slip. Technical characteristics and performance: the main feature of USB VITA WELD is the possibility of being heat sealed to seal any overlaps or discontinuities. In fact, an operator simply needs to pass a hot air blower (of the industrial type, commonly used by waterproofing specialists, at a temperature of approximately 250°C), over the membrane overlap to seal the TPEE surfaces, thus obtaining a perfect seal guaranteeing total impermeability to water, air and wind at the critical waterproofing points, including on pitched roofs with very gentle slopes (up to 5° or on flat roofs with added waterproofing).
