The pick-up arm is made of high-quality metals, and the arm tube is made of carbon fibre. The pick-up arm wire is connected directly to the preamp via manual soldering. The pre-mounted Ortofon Quintet Bronze MC pick-up rounds off this high-quality product. Operation takes place via backlit touch sensors on the glass plate. This makes the operation of the record player extremely straightforward and intuitive. The turntable of the T700 is made of black POM (polyoxymethylene), an additional mat is not necessary. To protect the record player, it is outfitted with a cover made of solid acrylic glass (included in scope of delivery), which can also easily be removed completely.
