The slabs undergo a process of electrolytic galvanization, powder coating, and oven baking. They are then insulated with an extruded polystyrene panel, providing thermal insulation. The distinctive feature of our metal planters is the lifetime guaranteed anti-wear plastic base. Additionally, in case there are non-visible sides in your planter (for example, near a wall and/or railing), you can use plastic slabs to lighten the structure and, above all, contain costs. THE ONLY METAL PLANTER WITH A PLASTIC BASE. A distinctive feature of our metal planters is the base: by using the wear-resistant plastic base, we can provide a life-time guarantee. You will no longer have to worry about metal bases that, being in contact with water for a long time, will deteriorate! THERMAL INSULATION. The metal sheets are supplied insulated with a 30-mm polystyrene insulation board that cuts down the heat transmittance of the sun’s rays by 100%. OPTIONAL: USE THE PLASTIC SHEETS FOR THE BACK OF THE PLANTER. In cases where there are non-visible sides in your planter (such as close to a wall and/or parapet), you can use the plastic sheets to lighten the structure and, most importantly, keep costs down.
