Le Grand Corail, an iconic fabric of Braquenie since 1860 is reproduced by hand using the original wood block printing method.This type of printing totally disappeared around the 1940s with the arrival of screen printing. With 'Le Grand Corail', Braquenie revives this technique with authentic skills in collaboration with a unique factory, the only existing one to print using this method.No less than 105 wooden blocks are required to print one repeat of this design comprising of 16 colours.
