The Roof Panel Rock Wool 5 Ribs, AIS ROC 5G, is a trapezoidal sandwich panel, consisting of two galvanized steel plates, the upper one has 5 ribs (two lateral and one central plus 2 intermediate to provide greater mechanical resistance) and a lower one with or without micro-ribbing, which are bonded in a continuous manufacturing process to a hard core of Rock wool at a density of 100 kg/m3.
The panel is designed for roofs with a minimum slope of 7%, although over 10% is recommended, on any metal, wood or concrete support. The flange of the integrated lateral overlap in a false rib forms the joint between two panels, enables rapid fitting, watertight assembly and good appearance of the roof. The Rock Wool core is fire retardant and is used to construct fire protection sectors where temperature conditions are critical; it is also one of the best materials for reducing noise, and used for acoustic insulation and to lessen noise from outside.
We have all the auxiliary fastening elements required, screws, Capelotti joint covers and trims for the AIS ROC 5G Panel, compatible polycarbonate sheets for natural light and static aerators for ventilation.
As with all our panels, the AIS 5G Panel is customisable by selecting the type of cladding, colour and profile of the lower sheet.
