The yellow breccia’s pattern from Brazil lends a distinctive touch to every surface. Its vivid pattern makes each slab of the quartzite look like a natural piece of art. Thanks to its acid resistance, the material is suitable for kitchen countertops and many other applications, in- and partially outdoors.
description material type
Quartzite belongs to the metamorphic rocks. High temperature and pressure ensured that from the porous sandstone emerged a consistent and polishable rock that consists almost entirely of quartz. Pure quartzites are the most weather-resistant rocks that exist. Thanks to its high compressive strength and abrasion resistance, the rock is suitable for floors, facades, and many indoor and outdoor applications. Through small admixtures, quartzites appear in many different colors.
