Merino woolhandmadecustomizable color

The upholstering of this yellow Pompon Chair is built by over 350 woolen pompons of superior merino wool. They have blossoms, buds and leaves wrapped inside and are knotted to a dense surface. The bloomy design similarly grows into the crocheted side of the seating with a related blossom hand embroidery. Inspired by floral brocade fabrics, which were used for the upholstering of these vintage chairs from the 1950th. The detailed refurbishment of this vintage chair was done by a Berlin based carpenter. All used materials are of high quality. This design object is exclusively handmade in Germany and at MYKs studio in Berlin. Customizing in color is possible. This object is one of a kind, but a similar chair can be made on order. Dimensions: Seating height 42cm, width 64cm, including armrests. Height of backrest 82cm. Total weight is around 26kg.
