Mondotrack® Functional combines the Mondotrack® athletic track surface with Everlay® underlayment, to personalize the functional area of fitness centers with the same surface of the Olympic Games. The Performance area of the functional training zone is dedicated is dedicated to preparing and strengthening the athlete with sprinting and jumping exercises. MONDO developed a combined solution, with the maximum mix of energy return, shock absorption and comfort: Mondotrack® Functional is a sports flooring in rolls, which combines the surface for Mondotrack athletics tracks with the Everlay stabilizing underlayment. The ideal solution to allow athletes to concentrate all their energy in physical exercise, without unnecessary postural alignments or the risk of injury. Our sport surfaces are made from two layers of solid rubber vulcanized together to form a continuous, seamless surface. Surface embossing that enhances slip resistance and traction reduces the need for shoe spikes to penetrate the surface to grip the track, enabling athletes to run faster because their feet spend less time in contact with the track. Air-filled chambers on the bottom layer compress, then expand, acting like bowstrings and projecting athletes up and forward. Vulcanized rubber surface layer with raised embossing for optimal elasticity and grip, and efficient drainage.
