The transformation of a Mexican classic A collection inspired by the traditional Mexican Equipal chair, evoking the fusion of two cultures in Mexico, the indigenous and the Spanish. Designed by Moisés Hernández for Mexa Design, it preserves the enveloping comfort and shape of the original. Contemporary, elegant and light. Both for indoors and outdoors, our Mestiza combines aesthetics with versatility and inspires us to savor a good coffee, enjoy a family gathering or relax looking at the sunset. MIX & MATCH In addition to the all black option, Mestiza offers the alternative of synthetic or natural palm for the seat, and two color options for the frame. DESIGNED BY Moisés Hernández Attracted by the simplicity and refinement of objects, his inspiration comes from what is mexican, from traditions, textures, contrasts and chromatic diversity. He is the first Mexican to graduate from the Master in Product Design with special mention at ECAL in Switzerland, and his work has traveled around the world.
