Description

William Van Alen, an American architect, designed one of the most well-known examples of art déco architecture and the world’s tallest skyscraper in the U.S.. In 1931 the Empire State Building surpassed it. The Chrysler Building guided Malabar’s imagination and so the Chrysler Modern Sideboard was born. It mixes geometric patterns with a rounded silhouette, representing the top of the skyscraper. It combines two types of walnut root, black lacquer and glass, adorned and supported by polished brass. The Chrysler Modern Sideboard re-interprets the emblematic building, being perfect for art déco fans’ living spaces. TECHNICAL INFO Materials: Structure in walnut wood finished with high gloss lacquer. Interior in lacquered wood. Details in polished brass..
