Lumenpulse has revamped the Control Box (CBX) with a new, simpler offering adapted to both indoor and outdoor use. Along with many mechanical advantages, the CBX has been re-designed to be as user-friendly as possible for control system installers and technicians. The CBX combines line voltage and DMX/RDM control signals in a single cable for robust bi-directional communication. Internally, the CBX boosts and splits the control signal into a maximum of six outputs for scalable network topologies. The CBX can be used to enable control for white, dynamic white, or colour-changing luminaires from families such as Lumenbeam, Lumencove, and Lumenfacade. New families such as Lumenquad, that use a 6-conductor cable construction for DMX/RDM implementations, are fully supported by the revamped CBX. New 6-conductor luminaires, in conjunction with a 6-conductor configured CBX, will improve data reliability, reduce noise susceptibility, and enable longer DMX/RDM runs.
