The variant of Sumo features a wooden base, now a perfectly horizontal sign, as well as adding a headrest mechanism that makes the backrest recline in different positions, to interpret new attitudes and rituals of both bodies and minds. Fixed-size sofa and armchair with supporting frame in 30x30mm tubular steel with epoxy powder coating col RAL–K7 8025, sprung with coated rubber elastic straps, padded in polyurethane foam covered in 100% polyether thermally bonded onto a polyamide velveteen backing and a felt pad to protect the seat cushion, to which it is fixed a 10mm thick emptied HPL panel veneered and edged with Canaletto walnut “rigatino” with water-based acrylic paint finish. Armrest structure in doublepanelled poplar and pine with padding in differentiated density polyurethane foam, covered with a mat in prewashed and sterilized goose down, stitched into separate compartments. Backrest structure in 20x20mm tubular steel, sprung with coated rubber elastic straps and padded in differentiated density polyurethane foam, covered with a mat in prewashed and sterilized goose down, stitched into separate compartments. The backrest is available fixed or with a headrest mechanism that can be adjusted to various positions, up to a maximum height of 82cm. Seat cushion in differentiated density polyurethane foam, covered with a mat in prewashed and sterilized goose down, stitched into separate compartments. Fabric or leather upholstery, both fully removable by zippers and Velcro fastenings. Bracket in tubular steel Ø25mm h.21cm with gunmetal grey colour epoxy powder coating.
