The shape of the Toa armchair suggests spontaneous, evocative folds. One simply must possess it; it is universal. The base - airy like a skeletal structure - screws into a quilted body. The footrest brings an additional note of comfort and relaxation. This armchair can have an informal side (in cotton-like fabrics), but it would be equally at home in a chic country home (in wool); it could even become quite formal, for use in a business lounge perhaps, when interpreted in leather. It will stand alone, accompanied by a lamp and low table, since all sides of this armchair have equal pertinence. CONSTRUCTION Base in black-stained solid ash, reinforced by two mechanically-soldered steel frames on the seat and back. Protective gliders. COMFORT Pullmaflex and sprung suspension on seat ; vertical-webbed suspension on back. Seat cushion in high resilience polyurethane Bultex foam (36kg/m3 - 2.8kPa). Back cushion in high resilience polyurethane Bultex foam (26kg/m3 - 1.4kPa). Cover quilted with polyester : 300 g/m2 on the interior and 100 g/m2 on the exterior.
