Levolux Walk-on Brise Soleil provides all the advantages of effective solar shading, while facilitating easy access to the façade for routine maintenance and cleaning. The Levolux system comprises a series of ‘J’ tread elements with a non-slip top section, that are spaced to provide optimum shading and also to create a platform. Virtually maintenance free, Walk-on Brise Soleil is manufactured from lightweight extruded aluminium components and is suitable for new and existing buildings, either cantilevered from the face of the building or supported on structures by others. System Construction All components are subject to rigid quality standards and are designed to produce a high performance product with an aesthetically pleasing finish. The main components of the Levolux Walk-on Brise Soleil system are: Tread Elements – Lightweight aluminium ‘J’ section extrusions, with a non-slip grooved top surface are fixed horizontally. Kick Plate – Extruded aluminium side supports secure the tread elements to create a safe working platform. Handrail (optional) – An extruded aluminium handrail can also be incorporated into a scheme if required. Latchway Systems (optional) – Levolux solutions are compatible with most latchway systems to ensure safe access when working at height.
