Segni expresses in a decorative sense the chromatic language of the Pigmenti project, by Ferruccio Laviani himself, superimposing imperfect lines and brushstroke droplets that become textures with a material relief and that give life to vivid and dynamic surfaces. The patterns of the collection are born from a graphic elaboration of the figurative ceramics of the 60s and from the experimentations of conceptual art.
The collection is divided into 5 variants - Segno &, Segno +, Segno =, Segno # and Goccio - which combine with the 12 shades of Pigmenti. The result is a range of contemporary tones, inspired by colours that are natural and at the same time, more sophisticated: from ochre, to earth tones, passing to cooler colours, such as green and blue, up to neutrals and greys.
“Working with Lea Ceramiche is giving me the opportunity to get to know that extraordinary material that is ceramics, and at the same time, investigate my creative possibilities in using it as a designer."
