Jean-Claude Thomas Duplessis was a craftsman born in Turin, in Italy in 1699 and died in 1774 in Paris at the age of 75.In august of 1756, he decides to reinstall himself in what will become the Manufacture National de Sevres: A porcelain factory. Craftsman of the King, he worked on iron, carving and work of art gilding. This collection is not dedicated to any royal or aristocrat personality but to a hand working artist dedicated to the King XV and without who the masterpiece appreciated today wouldn’t be here.
