Description

The Guinguette armchair in rattan, here in its low-back version, is THE iconic model of French rattan. Very popular in our countryside in the early 1900s, it was sold at the time by peddlers who went from village to village. Light, robust, and inexpensive, it was sometimes the only element of comfort in modest homes: to knit, smoke, listen to the radio, read by the fire, or chat under the apple tree... Comfortable, simple and robust, it is still fashionable today. It can be used as an occasional chair, but its seat height allows it to be used also around a dining table. This version has a resin weaving that almost perfectly imitates the natural rattan fiber. It will be perfect for outdoors and intense use. The Guinguette rattan and resin armchair is suitable for private and professional use (hotels, cafés, restaurants...). Features and options Made in Indonesia. Natural unpeeled rattan structure. PEHD resin weaving in natural color. A seat cushion can be ordered as an option. Customer fabric available for this product. Contact us for more information. KOK is extremely proud to have been marketing its grand père rattan armchairs for three generations!
