Description

QUALITY: 150 knot / inch ORIGIN: Hand-knotted rug produced in Nepal Library of Forms is part of the Artist Collaboration collection with American Artist Brian Coleman. Inspired by Colemans love of shapes and forms, stemming from his background in Graphic Design and Film Editing. ‘I’ve always had a love for architecture, and all kinds of different objects. I pull from drawings of forms and shapes I have done through the years.’ This piece has been skilfully hand-knotted in the Kathmandu Valley of Nepal using the world’s oldest traditional skills in the finest Tibetan wool and Chinese silk. Knots Rugs has translated Coleman’s mixed media contemporary art into modern masterpieces. The Brian Coleman collection consists of 7 rugs in total, with bespoke sizes and colourways also available upon request.
