The desk lamp is transformed into a light sculpture: What was once steel and sheet metal is resurrected as a paraphrase of both the Anglepoise lamp of the 1930s and the rice lamps popularised in Sweden in the 1970s. - 'I love the material, being able to create a lamp out of paper,' exclaims Alexander Lervik. Ori is something of a small sculpture, a bit like a fairy taking shape in the mist. The entire interior is filled with small LED lamps that provide an evenly distributed light. Ori is a work of light art that, unlike Noon's other lamps, comes in only one colour. Or rather only as light, all colours at once. With its distinctive shape, Ori harks back to the design classics of modernism without being shackled by old technology; in Alexander Lervik's take, light plays the leading role. Luminaire body in metal wire (Ø4 mm), shade material is a composite resin in 3 different layers. Ori comes in 3 sizes: Piccolo (S) and Medio (M) as desk lamps and Piantana (XL) enlarged as a floor lamp.
