The Carefree pellet is a closely related family member of the Jiffy-7 and is manufactured from high quality substrates with amendments making this pellet suitable for many crop applications. The Carefree plug offers many other innovative features to the customer, such as super-fast expansion, improved drainage, fast and excellent root development and problem free transplanting. With no open plug bottom, unlike paper pots with mix, Carefree is fully contained in a polymeric netting, thus helping in keeping the greenhouse environment clean, saving time and money cleaning up. Carefree’s super-fast expansion makes the product well suited to work in coordination with the Jiffy ‘Expandomatic’ system. Especially for this, the pellets are available preloaded in special automation friendly carrier trays, an innovative system for the propagator. Expand the pellets with these trays, space in the greenhouse while rooting and clip the strips back on the carrier tray for shipping.
