Creating a tailor-made living space
Jardins de Babylone restyled a whole terrace in for a private client in the 8th arrondissement of Paris.
Firstly, two small exterior and free-standing plant walls were set up on part of the terrace. The wall was decorated with beautiful shade plants to create an original decorative display. The plants include:
The small Helixine plant, placed in a cool, shady location quickly formed a green and soft carpet.
Lamium galeobdolon (yellow archangel), a leguminous plant with pale green oval leaves streaked with silver.
Geranium Spessart (cranesbill), with an evergreen and scented foliage that spreads out. The foliage has a red tint in winter.
This terrace development also had other features:
A net system to create shade on the terrace in the form of custom-made boat sails.
Varnished pots containing horsetails.
Three shiny pots with oleanders.
A relaxation area with plastic-coated rattan furniture.
