A true contemporary work of art.
The plant painting “Butterfly plant wall” was produced by Jardins de Babylone for their showroom “La Galérie Verte”.
This plant painting, which is also presented in “La Galérie Verte,” has many features:
A total surface area of 4 m².
It is made up of black, laser-cut sheet metal, making it possible to delineate the plants and insert LED strips and the whole electrical system.
Many varieties of plants are present: Ficus pumila (creeping fig), Pileacadierei (aluminium plant) , Nephrolepis (sword fern), Muelhenbeckia (maidenhair genus), Adiantum capillus-veneris, (southern maidenhair fern) and Selaginella (spikemosses).
For this design, Jardins de Babylone dreamed up a whole other universe.
Amaury Gallon’s team designed a plant wall in the form of a painting consisting of innumerable multi-coloured butterflies.
These butterflies are grouped on the left, creating a contemporary painting. Indeed, this concentration of dispersing butterflies suggests they’re in pursuit of fellow species.
