Out-of-the-ordinary accommodation, a morning at the heart of nature!
This project was carried out in the breakfast room of this unusual hotel. Jardins de Babylone created a plant-covered indoor wall for Hotel Ideal in Paris in the 14th arrondissement.
What could be more enjoyable and relaxing than a touch of green at breakfast to get off to a good start? This vertical garden offers tranquillity and pleasure thanks to its selection of vaporous plants.
To name a few:
Adiantum capillus veneris (Southern maidenhair fern), a fern with great decorative qualities.
Asparagus plumosus (common asparagus fern), a plant commonly used to decorate houses. Indeed, it is well suited to create a Zen area.
Chamaedorea elegans (parlour palm), one of 120 species of palm trees. It is native to the rainforests of South America, Mexico and Guatemala.
Cissus rhombifolia (grape ivy), an extremely hardy climbing plant. This plant grows quickly and abundantly.
This design by Jardins de Babylone consists of:
An interior plant wall totalling 9 m².
An automatic filling system located in the hotel’s private kitchens to ensure regular watering of the plant wall.
A significant number of plant varieties.
