A functional relaxation area
The Ubisoft company entrusted us the creation of this kitchen green walls within the cafeteria of their building.
To begin with, the difficulty of this kitchen green walls is the waterproofing of electric appliances. This includes the fridge, cupboard and microwave table. At the same time, an air allowance is necessary for the cooling of the machines. Thus we created a stainless steel frames around each element. The back of these kitchen green walls leaves a technical void allowing the airing of the machines. Further while making them flush with the green wall thus ensuring aestheticism.
The creative team worked on a green wall project combining several features:
The incorporation of colourful design household appliances by Smeg.
The creation of a relaxing and functional space for employees at Ubisoft in the form of a modern kitchen.
Demonstrating the waterproofness of the system patented by Jardins de Babylone.
The use of many varieties of plants (at least ten).
A custom-built creation for a surface area of 12 m².
In 2008, Amaury Gallon filed the patent on the waterproofing system for his green wall. This is why we installed a waterproofing system around each kitchen’s appliances. Our aluminium finishing profile closely sealed and guaranteed perfect waterproofing for the appliances.
